At the age of nine Steve moved from the poor outlining cities in Massachusetts with his single mother and two younger sisters to North Long Beach and Compton California during the early 80s crack epidemic.
Learning to fight became a necessity, little did he know learning to fight would lead to a higher learning beyond just the physical aspects of fighting. After becoming a Kung-Fu master and learning Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu he went on to build three different corporations. He then used the skills he learned in the martial arts to rebound and rebuild a new business after losing everything during the great recession. He now teaches CEO’s, managers, small business owners and everyday people how to utilize the mental aspects of the ancient fighting arts and how apply it to their own lives to help them achieve their own success.
During an interview he stated “I see everything through the lens of the martial arts. When I conduct business, build a new company or interact with people I do it from a martial arts viewpoint. The philosophy of the martial arts is my guiding light.”
When he isn’t busy speaking at conferences or seminars you can find him at one of his studios in Southern California training.
